Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the parts catalog in Oracle (MSR process) and the hazardous materials database (MSDS). Ensure the integrity of information received and entered into Oracle from all users in accordance with standards. Follow-up with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient processing of new parts.
  • Establish replenishment parameters that take into account the life cycle of components, their procurement and associated delivery times, as well as economic quantities for orders, with the aim of optimizing inventory turnover while ensuring parts availability.
  • Follow up on releases sent to suppliers. Validate and update delivery dates in Oracle.
  • Support for procurement-related administrative functions and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements :
  • D.E.C in supply chain, logistics or inventory management or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years experience in inventory management / catalog / purchasing environment
  • Must have experience in managing inventory parts catalog information.
  • Knowledge of inventory processes and part creation processes (knowledge of railway equipment components an asset).
  • Knowledge of an ERP inventory module required, experience with Oracle is an asset.
  • Must have advanced skills with Microsoft suite, specifically Excel, TEAMS and Sharepoint.
  • Experience with Power BI tools is an asset.
