Purpose

The IT Project manager will play a pivotal role in the shaping of Guardian's future as we leverage systems to create value for the company and our customers. This role is one of understanding, documenting and improving systems to create radical value. Project management of our vendors with deep understand of the options, technologies and resources required will be invaluable in your success.

What you will do

  • Strategic Implementation and Leadership: Drive organizational value and competitive advantage through strategic implementation of software, systems and automation. Lead key initiatives including ERP automation, SharePoint and Business Intelligence development.
  • IT System improvement: Oversee the development and management of comprehensive IT systems through our service providers and team members encompassing solutioning, development, training and execution that support business processes
  • Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Lead the design and continuous improvement of various operational systems including ERP, Customer Data Capture, CRM, SharePoint, etc.
  • Provide insight to leadership : Understand the key changes in technology and opportunities that those provide to Guardian to improve and differentiate ourselves from the market.

What you will bring

  • Educational and Professional Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
  • Experience and Leadership Skills: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a IT or project management role, showcasing strong leadership, effective communication, and system management skills. Demonstrated ability understand and communicate within the IT space.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, a positive attitude for engaging with diverse teams and clients, along with outstanding organizational, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency and Compliance: Proficiency in SharePoint, ERPs, Databases (e.g. SQL), PowerBI, Sage ERP experience is an asset
  • Additional Requirements: A valid driver’s license.
