IT Systems Analyst

Port Hawkesbury Paper is currently seeking an individual for the position of IT Systems Analyst. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role involves overseeing and maintaining various information technology systems and processes within the company.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Teams sites, Power Apps, and Power Automate workflows to automate existing paper-based processes throughout the organization
• Design and implement data models, reports, and dashboards in Power BI to provide actionable insights to decision-makers
• Utilize SQL expertise to query databases, extract relevant data, and ensure data integrity and security
• Work closely with users to provide training and support, and gather feedback for continuous improvement of implemented systems
• Work with vendors to support and maintain current organization systems
• Collaborate with IT technical teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in systems analysis and implementation.

• The ability to manage change effectively with strong multi-tasking ability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with users at all levels of the organization
• Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases
• Experience in IT technical support or administration is an asset.
