In this position, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, the Management Team, and the IT Manager to gather and document business and system requirements, understanding user needs, and translating them into technical specifications.
- Create detailed system design proposals, including workflows, data flows and technical architecture to guide development and implementation efforts.
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions that align with business goals, considering factors such as functionality, compatibility, and scalability.
- Oversee the deployment of new systems, coordinating with developers, testers, and end-users to ensure successful implementation.
- Perform testing and validation of systems to ensure they meet the specifications and function as intended. Troubleshoot any defects in the systems.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement, using technology to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Develop training materials and provide user training to help employes to use new systems and tools.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system configuration, processes, and user guides for reference and future updates.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to systems and applications.
- Ensure systems adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, implementing measures to protect sensitive information.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Basic Administration
- Effective communication with Stakeholders, Management Team, and Operations Team.
- Ensure accurate record keeping by managing and maintaining a filing system, both paper and digital.
- Read and sign off on all related company SOP’s.
- Provide support and coordination to the operations department as needed on an occasional or on-going basis.
For success in this role, you must have:
Education requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Post Secondary courses in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology would be considered an asset.
- Diploma/relevant network engineering designation e.g. (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)

Skill requirements:
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated, with an ability to work independently using sound judgment and initiative.
- Knowledge and ability to alphabetize, numerically rank, file, sort and batch documents and maintain general record keeping and filing systems.
- Knowledge of general office practices, protocols, and procedures.
- Must be dependable and reliable in attendance, punctuality, and task completion.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have great time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Salary: $60,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
