Sales Associate for Jewelry

Duties:

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in finding the right products and making purchasing decisions.
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking showcases and arranging merchandise.
-Be able to advise customers on Custom Jewelery Design options, and help customers by suggesting ideas.
- Meet or exceed sales goals by actively promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Experience:

- Previous experience in Jewelery sales and taking in Jewelery repairs is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of retail math and basic understanding of wireless or electronics sales is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

-Neat and clear handwriting or printing is a must.

-A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is an asset.

-A knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram would an asset.

-A knowledge of Simply Accounting is an asset, but not essential.

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.50 per week
