We are a fast-growing civil construction company located out of Camrose Alberta. We are seeking a self-motivated and knowledgeable Heavy-Duty Journeyman/woman Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day repair work on equipment within our trucking and equipment division. This role requires a strong diagnostic skill set, experience with a variety of equipment, attention to detail and a strong communicative skill set. This role will work closely with the Shop Foreman and Maintenance Coordinator to achieve optimal results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Complete repairs and maintenance on Heavy Equipment, semi-trucks, trailers, pick-ups,
gensets, and assorted small engines, etc.
Advise supervisor on general equipment condition, work performed, and future repair
requirements.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in an efficient and
timely manner.
Perform diagnosis and repairs in the field as required.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel-powered equipment
including generators, pumps, and other machinery.
Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
Work in accordance with all safety procedures, standards, and regulations.
Presents professional and service-oriented interactions with all customers.
Complete work orders, inspection documents, and other paperwork as required.

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Overtime as required.

Off-Site work as required.
License/Certification:
Red Seal Heavy Duty Journeyman Certificate (required)
Valid CVI Technician License. (required)
Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license and a clean driving record as approved by RTRC.
