Journeyman/woman Technician

As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Technician to join our service department.

Position Overview:
As a Journeyman Technician at Maddigan Chrysler, you will be an integral part of our service team, responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure they operate at peak performance. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of vehicles and utilize your expertise to deliver exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues accurately
• Follow manufacturer's guidelines and dealership procedures to ensure quality workmanship
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Journeyman technician certification
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $34.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
