Form of workThis is a great new role if you are carving out your accounting career - no professional experience is required, instead you will be an accounting & finance graduate (or graduate from a similar discipline), perhaps with coop, part-time, or internship experience from during your studies.

The focus of your role will be accounts payable, but through time, you will progressively support wider full accounting activities as you develop your corporate accounting career.
Headquartered in Richmond, Premium Brands is a TSX listed company with over 100 years of history. The organization owns a diverse portfolio of dozens of specialist food manufacturing and distribution businesses across Canada and the US.
What - the Role:
You will be responsible for supporting accounts payable related queries, verifying and paying invoices, processing weekly payments, preparing journal entries, and performing GL reconciliations.
Who - the Candidate:
You will be someone who will enjoy working in a work-paced environment and is able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
A university degree is required (related to accounting and finance), as is Canadian citizenship, Permanent Residence, or an Open Work Permit.
Where:
Shellbridge Way, Richmond, British Columbia V6X 3C6. The office is most accessible by bus if taking public transit, and there is parking on site for those driving. This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional work from home.
How Much:
Base salary of between $45,000-$50,000, and other details include extended health benefits from day 1 (medical and dental), full study support for the CPA.
