Senior Corporate Accountant

A well-established real estate firm in Surrey is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their expanding team. This newly created in-office position is a result of the company's ongoing growth and expansion efforts.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Controller, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Your expertise in corporate book balancing, consolidation, debit and credit management, and financial reporting will be crucial in driving the company's financial success.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 5 years of full-cycle corporate accounting experience within the real estate or related industries. You should demonstrate decisiveness, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards. A bachelor's degree in accounting and finance is mandatory, with advanced proficiency in Excel being essential. Prior experience with the Sage 300 system is advantageous, and pursuing a CPA designation is considered a valuable asset
The Offer
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000, along with comprehensive benefits, 3 weeks of vacation, advancement opportunities, and etc.
