Job Description

This is a dynamic position with lots of opportunities for growth.

Reporting to the Senior Data Analyst you will have responsibility for managing a master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a Data Analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. This is a position that requires you to work at our office in Newmarket, Ontario.

Responsibilities

· Managing and analyzing large data files and large SharePoint Folders generated by our proprietary mobile app.

· Developing reports and analysis.

· Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.

· Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.

· Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

· Developing reports and analysis.

· Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.

· Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.

· Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Job Requirements

· Strong skills and experience working with SQL databases and Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.

· Work experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field.

· Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.

· High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing databases.

· Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.

· Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.

· High-level written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
