Junior Graphic Designer

A Junior Graphic Designer is required to provide digital and print creative design and artwork support across multiple platforms and media.

Working closely with the Head of Design and Senior Graphic Designer, the Junior Graphic Designer will work on a variety of graphic design projects creating packaging, social media posts, maintaining websites, and printed material for internal and external marketing communications.

Key Tasks:

• Carry out graphic design work, undertaking amendments, artwork, layout and image search
• Source photography, illustration and graphics for individual projects
• Develop and produce marketing collateral to support the company’s strategy and visual branding
• Gather and manage print quotes sourcing competitive prices from print suppliers
• Ensure print jobs come in on time and within pre-agreed deadline
• As part of the Design team, work collaboratively across the company to continually improve the quality of work produced
• Plan and execute the work within agreed budgets, time schedules and priorities
• Participate in creative brainstorms
• Take a job through from initial design to print and/or web
• Edit or create videos for advertisement or social media

Key Skills/Experience:

• Educated to degree level in related field OR qualified by experience
• Experience of working with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro
• Web design skills an advantage / keen to develop (WordPress, HTML, CSS etc.)
• Flexibility in approach to work, able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and with great attention to detail
• Great communicator with a ‘can-do’ approach to work
• Creative thinker and proven multi-tasker
• Min. 1 – 2 years’ graphic design commercial experience
• A passion for emerging digital technology

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $43,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
