Responsibilities:
- Design layouts for EWI technical sales department and customers using AutoCAD
- Prepare estimates of probable costs including materials, labour and equipment for projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications
- Review new and pending jobs through the Construction Association, and working with estimators on developing bids for projects
- Order materials as required for supply and installs as quoted through the Technical department
- Entering orders and purchase orders into accounting software – SAGE
- Provide outstanding customer service to walk in, phone in or in person customers as required
- Assist Senior Estimators as required
- Assist in the installation of a variety of products on customer sites as required
- Office duties including hard-copy filing, and paperflow tasks
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education and experience in drafting, engineering, technical trades or related fields is an asset
- Experience in Project estimating an asset
- AutoCAD experience required
