Parsons is now hiring engineers with a desire to work on large infrastructure projects that change the fabric of our community. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. In this role, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline, which may involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design), VISSIM, SYNCHRO, Transmodeler and other Traffic Engineering related applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Traffic Engineer for Traffic Engineering and design projects
  • Perform traffic analyses and crash analyses for provincial Ministries of Transportation and municipal agencies
  • Perform signal design and signal timing
  • Support design-build projects as needed
  • Work on signing and pavement marking design
  • Support Maintenance of Traffic design


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and 2+ years of related work experience.
Engineer in Training (EIT) registration with provincial engineering regulatory body is preferred.
Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
