Key Account Manager - Amazon:
Builds strategic partnerships with customer by better understanding the account's business and aligning PCI services to meet the account's needs. Develops market share and positioning in all product categories. Manages all sales activities between PCI and account to ensure the sales plan forecast, budgets, profit, inventory are consistent with the business plan. Participates in the preparation of the Divisional annual business plan and marketing investments. Contributes to the PCI Demand Planning process by reaching consensus with forecasting, producing an accurate forecast, effectively using Demand Planning component of IBP, and providing accurate and timely information. Provides support for all elements of Amazon E-Commerce platform management, including self-serve aspects.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development - Establishes higher market shares by impacting customer's overall business, improving sell-through promotions, and online brand representation on existing customer platform. Uses an analytical approach to sell by focusing on available data to help predict future performance trends. Collaborates with internal and external teams to develop and implement successful long lead promotional plans and digital campaigns to meet customer requirements. Resolves daily issues regarding credit, pricing, accounting, shipping, contract, supply chain, stock, product knowledge and information, master data issues. Prepares and delivers dealer presentations as required.
  • Self Service Account Management - Validates, prepares, submits all financial claims. Prepares and uploads all National Promotions into Vendor Central for execution. Responds in a timely fashion to platform maintenance requirements. Drives sales results through self-serve selling opportunities.
  • Reporting, Sales Forecasting and Accuracy - Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts and reaches consensus with the IBP process. Tracks sales, targets, forecast and last year in relation to the Business Plan, daily. Communicates issues, or trends with Demand Planner. Negotiates and collaborates with buyers and supply chain groups on an on-going basis to achieve forecast accuracy.
  • Contract Negotiations - Creates alignment with customer by category on annual targets, sales programs, and investments. Requires collaboration with Product Team and in-depth financial analysis to support the process.
  • Brand Protection - Works with cross functional team to investigate Brand Protection issues. Determines corrective actions required with Brand Team support.
  • New Model Onboarding - Works with cross-functional teams to identify and prepare new assortment selection for customer. Executes all elements of new model launch.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • Requires High School graduation with 10 years plus sales experience. An acceptable equivalent would be University or College graduate in sales or marketing, with 5 years sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Amazon platform relationship is required.
  • Knowledge of the consumer electronics industry is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, Vendor Central is a must.
  • Manage complex problem-solving including planning and organizing promotions with a focus on all Peak Season Events, preparing Business Plan recommendations and managing contract negotiations.
  • See through day-to-day resolution of issues including credit, shipping, contract, supply chain, pricing, stock, product knowledge and master data issues.
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills required to influence customers and negotiate settlements to complex problems.
  • Routine problem solving is required to give support to the account and resolve daily issues.
