EIPS is recruiting a full-time KinderQuest Teacher at École Parc Élémentaire. KinderQuest is a special needs education system program supporting students transitioning from kindergarten to grade one.
École Parc Élémentaire serves approximately 350 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 17 teaching staff and 16 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.
École Parc Élémentaire offers single-track, French immersion programming. The school is a diverse French immersion learning community that inspires a love of learning, encourages student individuality and promotes global citizenship in a safe, caring and enriched environment. The school values the importance of strong learning partnerships among students, teachers, parents and the community, while wanting each student to be successful to their greatest capacity. École Parc Élémentaire is also a designated Play And Learn at School (PALS) pre-kindergarten site within the Division.

Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract and meet the minimum requirements of the position.
The language of instruction for this program is English
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Effective organization and classroom management skills
Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
