Kitchen Assistant

Job description

Overall day to day running of the Kitchen operations, ordering supplies, preparing food for service, maintaining a high level of food quality.

Prepare all Italian and Portuguese Dishes / Open and Close

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of cuisine for daily menu
• Responsible for supervising / overseeing all food operations
• Maintain a hands-on approach to cooking "on the line" as well as training and developing kitchen staff on a daily basis..
• Comply with all regulatory health and safety codes, working towards creating a strong work place health and safety environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Food Industry
• Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to speak English, Work Well under Pressure , Work Well as a Team
• Customer Service Skills
