As a Lab Technician at our custom earplug production facility, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality custom earplugs to our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass various stations within the production process, ensuring the precision and quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
Production:
- Produce earplugs from start to finish, encompassing all stages of production.
- Multitask with accuracy and thoroughness, even under time constraints and high customer volume.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail in measurements, calculations, equipment settings, and product quality.
- Proactively identify discrepancies, suggest improvements, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections on all completed jobs to ensure adherence to our standards and job order specifications before shipment.
Standards of Performance:
- Strive to exceed expectations in key performance areas, including jobs per day, average days per job, breakage rate, and remake ratio.
- Consistently enhance and apply knowledge in the manufacturing of customized earplugs.
Lab Maintenance and Safety:
- Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the lab and surrounding areas.
- Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements, ensuring proper storage and usage of supplies/material as per the safety program.
- Demonstrate safe work practices at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manual labour.
- Attention to visual details
- Good knowledge of English.
- Technical inclination and machinery experience are assets.
- Near vision and sharp focus required for close work.
- Finger dexterity is needed to manipulate objects with precision.
- Precise measurements of quantity and quality are essential.
- Strong communication and listening skills when collaborating with other colleagues.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, including friendliness, empathy, and patience.
Job Details:
- From $18.00 per hour
- Permanent Part-time (3 days a week) OR full-time (5 days a week)
- In –person
