Englobe is looking for a Metallurgical Laboratory Technician to join the team of one of its clients working in the aeronautic field in Dorval. Your role will be to carry out metallurgical tests and ensure the proper functioning of the laboratory. The position is for a 12 months contract, with the possibility of permanence afterwards.
Your Contribution
As a Metallurgical Technicician, you will work with the impartition team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Participate in the conduct and coordination of laboratory tests;
- Evaluate and cut samples for assembly;
- Prepare samples for metallographic analysis;
- Carry out metallographic analyzes (welding, resistance, brazing, plasma, EDM, heat treatment);
- Use optical microscopes;
- Carry out mechanical resistance tests (hardness, traction, etc.).
Your Profile
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in metallurgical engineering;
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience;
- Available to work the evening shift 1 week out of 4;
- Fluent French, spoken and written
