Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape & Snow Removal Field Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardscape, softscape, property maintenance, Snow Removal, and team management. This individual will be responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and managing a team of skilled professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day field operations for landscape construction, lawn maintenance, and Snow Removal projects.
- Manage a team of Landscape and Snow Removal technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress, quality of work, and address any issues or concerns.
- Communicates directly to the owner with regards to client needs, day to day team operations, and provide input for project proposals.
- Ensure equipment maintenance is on going as expected and coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Spend a minimum of 20 Hours per week working along side landscape team on site to help train team members and keep projects on schedule.
- Spend a minimum of 8 Hours per week performing quality checks on property maintenance sites, scheduling property maintenance routes with the lawn care supervisor, estimating "softscape" jobs.
- Spend a minimum of 5-10 Hours per week assisting the landscape depot retail division with deliveries, training summer students, interacting with clients, and checking inventory.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in landscape construction (interlock), and Snow Removal operations, with a minimum of 5 years in supervisory or managerial roles.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, and Snow Removal techniques with a minimum of 5 years of field experience.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficient in project management, scheduling, and problem-solving with the ability and willingness to make decisions quickly and effectively as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and times of day
