A self-motivated Landscape Construction Labourer is one that is able to take pride in their responsibilities, perform their tasks to a high and consistent standard, and routinely does so with the trust of their foreman and project manager. These responsibilities include:
- job site setup (preparing tools and equipment for the day) and cleanup (sweeping, pressure washing, picking up garbage, organizing tools, organizing trailer, etc.)
- shovelling and grading of landscape materials (sand, gravel, topsoil, mulch, etc.)
- hardscaping (carrying, cutting, and laying natural stone/precast concrete/brick)
- mixing and pouring concrete
- basic carpentry
- plant material installation (planting of perennials, shrubs, and trees) and sod installation.

Having the following skills and qualifications will be an integral part of becoming a successful member of the Tumber team:
- Ability to be reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Ability to work efficiently as a team member and/or individual
- Ability to remain motivated and driven to consistently offer a high-quality product and service
- Ability to withstand the physical demands of job requirements and weather conditions
- Ability to lift at least 50LBS
- Ability to travel to and from job sites (license and own vehicle)

- We are involved in the landscape design build industry operating in the mid- to high-end area of the sector with the majority of work occurring on residential properties.
- We were founded in 1976 and have gone on to win more than 100 national and international awards since our establishment.
- We typically operate from April to December (weather dependent). Operating months may extend into January, February, and March depending on the type of work occurring.
- Our standard work week is Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:30pm (50 hours/week).
