We are looking for highly motivated Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance Labourers that enjoy a Team atmosphere. We install and maintain residential, condominium, villa and commercial sites in and around Okotoks/High River areas.
Candidates are offered the opportunity to join Teams focused on a wide range of tasks associated with the installation of Landscaping Projects and on the maintenance of existing Sites.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Cut & trim grass, rake, weed garden beds, prune shrubs and trees
- Operate power mowers, trimmers, electric clippers, sod cutters and pruning tools as well as other landscape maintenance equipment.
- Plant trees and shrubs, spread top soil, install sod
- Install Landscape materials following design plans
- Perform basic maintenance and/or cleaning of minor equipment, fleet and trailers.
- Participate in basic safety training, ensuring the safety of work environments
- Follow company health & safety program, perform and complete the required paperwork
- Complete daily digital timesheets

· Willingness and ability to learn equipment operation (lawnmowers, trimmers, sod cutters, small engine equipment)
· Willingness and ability to follow instructions and communicate with supervisor and members of your Team
· Willingness and ability to work in all types of weather conditions with a moderate level of physical fitness
· Willingness to learn and follow safety standards
· Team player that can also work well individually
· Positive and Courteous attitude with Team and Customers
· A valid Class 5 minimum driver’s license is required
The successful candidate will be expected to work a 40-55 hour work week, starting around April 15- October 26 (approx.). The opportunity to continue into year-round employment is offered and encouraged when the Season ends.
Starting wages range between $18.00- $20.00 per hour depending on the candidates’ prior experience.
