Position Title: Learning Management System Analyst

Team and Location: Talent Management, People & Culture - Calgary, AB

Salary: $73,000/year 

Position Summary:

The Learning Management System (LMS) Analyst will perform key administrative, analytical and coordination support of the LMS. This position is a multifaceted role that requires an understanding of integrated learning systems and the ability to work with multiple teams and business units daily. The Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment between learning needs, business objectives and regulatory requirements, as applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:

  • Assigns and tracks courses in the Parkland LMS.
  • Accepts and organizes incoming training requests from business units.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting issues.
  • Conduct system audits and monitoring to ensure employee and training data is accurate.
  • Develop and maintain system/user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.

Learning Management System (LMS) Configuration:

  • Creating and maintaining LMS training and competency courses, curriculum, and reports.

Training Vendor Management:

  • Manage and be point of contact for third-party vendors and contracts.
  • Issue, upload, and report on training certificates in the LMS.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent 2 years experience in information systems.
  • Experience with an LMS system(s).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects or tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Understanding of project reporting requirements.
  • Strong literacy and communication skills.
