Legal File Clerk

Valley Law Chambers is currently looking for the right individual to be a Legal File Clerk. This is a full time permanent position. Experience in a law office, or other related office experience, is an asset, but training will be provided to the successful candidate if you have the drive, skills and personality we are looking for.

Duties:

• Receiving, acting on emails, faxes, letters and other forms of correspondence.
• Archiving files.
• Scanning and uploading documents into storage systems.
• Forwarding communication to the correct party, whether internal or external.
• Assisting staff members with finding documentation to support their work.
• Executing administrative duties such as photocopying and mailroom services.
• Entering client information into databases or other storage systems.
• Providing support to lawyers and legal assistants.
• Additional duties as directed by the lawyers.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
