The successful candidate will provide Library Technician services for the staff and students at Edmonton Christian Northeast School. This position will assist in a variety of library and learner spaces to ensure the effective use of the Learning Commons as well as designing and building a makerspace and loose play learning centre.

• operating and maintaining an automated library system
• working with staff and students to determine suitable library resources
• building a makerspace and loose play parts learning centers
• planning and organizing book talks and book fairs
• creating, coordinating and setting up displays related to library programming
• providing literacy and numeracy support

• a diploma in Library and Information Technology
• a minimum of one year related experience preferably in a school environment
• strong technical abilities in Microsoft Office and automated library systems
• excellent communication and collaborative skills
• supportive of Edmonton Christian Northeast School's vision and mission

$21.09 - $26.50 per hour
