Job description

The Lifecycle & Growth Marketing-Payments, Sr Associate will report to the ED of Digital Marketing, Canada with accountabilities to the Head of Canada Marketing and Head of US Acquisition & Engagement Marketing, and will be integral to the achievement of aggressive growth and retention goals for the business. You should have a natural curiosity about B2B customer experience strategies for SMBs (Small & Medium Businesses), leveraging martech, and continually taking initiatives to improve your craft in order to deliver creative campaigns and experiences. You should be comfortable digging into data and customer insights to identify the biggest priorities for both short and long term improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with several teams to accelerate Chase Canada's SMB digital acquisition and retention capabilities:
    • Work with Marketing, Sales, Product, Analytics and related teams to develop customer centric strategies that will achieve ambitious retention and revenue growth goals.
    • Creatively ideate and project manage the development of lifecycle campaigns and optimizations that will attract leads and delight customers across channels including email, search, content, partnerships, affiliates and more.
    • Partner with cross-functional internal teams to build custom nurture journeys for leads and lifecycle programs for customers across multiple platforms and funnels.
  • Monitor and manage performance data and insights across platforms and teams:
    • Get to know the customer, develop research and analyze multiple complex datasets in order to translate them into viable lifecycle campaign strategies.
    • Partner with Sales, Service and Finance teams to continually analyze performance, proactively optimize programs, lift ROAS and forecast performance across KPIs.
    • Implement a test and learn methodology and supporting infrastructure to drive experimentation across programs and channels.
    • Optimize automation programs to ensure they create a positive impact on CAC and can be tied to customer LTV by influencing opportunity generation, account activations and reducing churn.
  • Lead as a digital experience SME who understands how Canadians engage with Chase:
    • Drive accountability through regular reporting on activities and key learnings monthly and quarterly through presentations to leadership.
    • Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills when providing initiatives to improve digital experiences.
    • Ability to distill quantitative analysis of multiple datasets, articulating technical growth ideas into simplified concepts.
    • Highly versed in digital growth trends with a continuous improvement and learning mindset.
    • Forge close relationships with internal teams, external agencies, platform providers and partners to stay at the forefront of innovation, new tech and beta programs.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • 5 years progressive experience with a focus on launching and iterating B2B digital acquisition and retention programs for SMBs in a demand generation or growth marketing role
  • Hands-on experience with building customer engagement and lifecycle programs across digital channels that drove measurable ROI
  • UX and design sensibilities to manage creation of a fully unified brand experience across program creatives
  • Ability to stay on top of trends and best practices and factors those into developing communication strategies that are customer centric
  • Supremely organized with a close attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple projects and ambiguous interdependencies, and the confidence to solve autonomously and deliver results on time
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly convey complex concepts in different ways to varying audiences and develop strong partnerships
  • Track record of delivering growth experiences in multiple languages for Canada, ideally in the fintech or merchant services space

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Payments or Financial Services industry experience a plus
  • Familiar with leveraging B2B marketing automation and technology products, automation tools and project management tools such as:
    • Salesforce, Marketo, Marketing Cloud
    • G Suite, MS Suite, Figma, JIRA, Workfront, Google Data Studio
    • Adobe Analytics, Tag manager, Target, Google
    • Knowledge of CMSes, modern browser technologies and email clients
  • Familiar with ad platforms, tools and affiliate marketing
  • Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred
