Your Opportunity
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintain safe and orderly loading and unloading of the chair & surface lifts
- Ensure all guests have a valid and visible lift ticket
- Maintain loading and unloading ramps, signage, and corals to approved standards
- Physical duties include shoveling snow and lifting heavy objects
- Ensure that the approved operating procedures are followed in accordance with the Lift Operations manual and passenger ropeways regulations
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications
- Professional, energetic, dependable, and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service and safety
- Ability to handle difficult situations while remaining calm under pressure
- Previous customer service, Lift Operations, and skiing and/or snowboarding experience is an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule is an asset (evenings, weekends and holidays) with a minimum of 3 shifts per week for part time
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- Successful candidates must complete Bullwheel Training (provided by CH) prior to first day of employment
