Light Truck Or Van - Pie Delivery Driver

We are seeking a Part Time Driver to supplement our existing FT Delivery Driver as our business grows. At the moment, shifts would be anywhere from 1 - 3 days a week from Monday to Friday. It would be ideal for someone who is semi retired or for someone who is looking for Part Time work and has some flexibility with their schedule b/w Monday and Friday (8am - 5pm).

As our Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving our Refrigerated Van or Hino 195 to deliver our pies to wholesale customers from Hamilton, KW, Whitby and up to Barrie. In addition to wholesale deliveries you may also deliver to our home delivery customers (for which you receive a share of tips). We deliver Monday-Friday and shifts are generally 6-8 hours per day. Experience driving larger vehicles is required. However, both vehicles can be driven with a G License. You need to be minimum 25 years old with a clean G license for at least 2 years for insurance reasons.

You are responsible for loading and unloading our van each day and making sure you delivery orders are accurate, receiving signed invoices etc. Depending on the route, "hand bombing" boxes may be required. Each box weighs about 10 lbs, but sometimes heavier lifting will be required. In addition, experience with a pump truck to handle pallets/skids is also useful.

We're looking for someone who is experienced, clean driving record, enjoys talking to customers and will represent us with enthusiasm and care. You also must be punctual. You don't necessarily need years of professional delivery experience, but a clean driving record and a confident driver of our extended van and our Hino 195 truck is required.

We are headquartered in S. Etobicoke at 927 The Queensway, and that is where you will load-in every day.
