What to Expect
Tesla Toronto Automation is seeking a Logistics Analyst to be part of a world class team. This energetic, skilled, cost-conscious, collaborative individual will be responsible for managing different types of shipments based on stakeholders’ requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Prioritize and collaborate with internal stakeholders on daily rush shipments; daily monitoring of rush shipments & communicating status to internal/external stakeholders; complete packaging and paperwork for daily rush shipments; send customs documentation to broker for clearance support as required
- Daily order entry of rush and spare parts shipments; process shipping labels and/or BOL (s); create customs documents accordingly and create shipping weekly schedule for spare parts; create internal invoicing as needed for spare parts shipments
- Update M1 ERP system as needed for orders and shipments with packaging and customs details; update HTS code & COO in M1 as needed for part numbers provided by Procurement & Engineering; update rush shipment tracker & project tracker spreadsheet as required
- Submit shipment requests through Ad Hoc; monitor Ad Hoc shipment request status
- Collaboration with Ad hoc team for special shipments (Hazmat, LTL, Specialized equipment, various projects; collaboration with freight forwarders & carriers of Air, Ocean, LTL, FTL, Specialized equipment
- Create CERS declarations as needed for international shipments & obtain POD’s
- Support internal stakeholders of different shipment requests; local, cross border inbound/outbound shipments, returns to vendors
What You’ll Bring
- College certificate/degree in related fields: Business Administration; International Business; Logistics or Supply chain or equivalent experience
- 2 - 5 years’ experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain
- Data entry experience, strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs; Outlook, Teams, excel, Word
- Effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Takes initiative and is willing to constantly learn and work in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with different departmental levels
- Other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the business
