What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
-Responsible for managing the centralized development and implementation of training programs, change management, and communications required to ensure LP meets overall objectives.
-Accountable for achieving efficient and consistent execution of training programs, change management and communications for Loss Prevention in field, Home Office, and Distribution Services.
-Manages detailed contracts with content Vendors, and supports Global Sourcing and Procurement to ensure invoices are paid in accordance with agreements
-Responsible for the creation, reviews, and editing of all communication for internal LP, Stores or DC audiences to ensure consistent messaging
-Collaborates regularity with Learning & Development, Stakeholders, H&S, Vendors, Merchants, Marketing, and HR, in support of training, program development and communication where required
-Sets goals, expectations, and reviews performance with peers
-Mentors LP team members to elevate and build their Training Programs and Communications knowledge
What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
-Minimum high school education, post-secondary education in related field preferred (Training, Communications)
-Five (5) to (7) seven years progressive management experience in Retail, preferably off-price, with experience in operations and Loss Prevention is preferred
-Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company
-Management skills including organizational, negotiating, listening, conflict management and information gathering skills. Demonstrated solid people management skills including coaching, providing advice and guidance to Associates in the resolution of problems
-Knowledge of the global and national retail landscape and market trends to develop future strategies; solid understanding of business tools and reports to make business recommendations
