Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Contract Administrator-Central Time Administrator located in Fort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN).
The Maintenance Contract Administrator-Central Time Administrator acts as a maintenance focal point in administration of maintenance service contracts and interactions with service contractor company representatives. Requires understanding and knowledge of maintenance, project and turnaround work processes and activities through job-related training and experience. Supports other contract administration team members while also providing advice and guidance to other maintenance, turnaround and projects personnel and technical experts.
Responsibilities - Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role:
  • Leads contract time administration, billing and invoicing processes to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Acts as a source of guidance regarding labor purchase orders and invoice related questions to other team members.
  • Resolves discrepancies and errors with labor invoices/payments and follows up accordingly
  • Understands maintenance, turnaround and project processes and activities to effectively manage contractor performance in cooperation with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Works with Purchasing Sourcing Specialists in the assessment of contract terms and conditions to ensure effective processing in SAP.
  • Supports the Contract Admin team on the performance of service contractors to ensure that their work is completed safely, effectively and efficiently while also ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Fosters a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications - Required education, experience and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves)
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 or more years of industry experience.
  • A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in the Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.
