Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibility:

Troubleshoot mechanical problems on rotating equipment and process.
● Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
● Repair and Refurbishment of valves, actuators and other mechanical equipment as required.
● Perform miscellaneous maintenance activities.
● Perform welding as needed
● Other maintenance related duties.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

Journeyman Millwright Certificate with 5 years of related experience in an industrial plant (Red Seal
preferred).
● Previous experience in maintaining and repairing cryogenic pumps, valves, heat exchangers,
expanders, boiler feed water pumps, boilers and hydraulic systems.
● Previous experience in maintaining and repairing centrifugal and reciprocating industrial compressors.
● Good knowledge in alignment of industrial equipment.
● Ability to read mechanical blueprint and drawings.
● Ability to use precision measurement tools.
● Valid driver’s license.
● Basic office and computer skills.
● Good working knowledge of English: Written and Spoken.
● Availability after hours as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00-$43.00 per hour

Experience:

• Industrial maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
• working with compressors: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• 433A or Red Seal (preferred)
