Work Environment:
This inventory will be used to staff positions that provide direct operational support to Investigations and the Units that conduct them. These positions are located in law enforcement environments which include regular contact with uniformed and armed police officers and will expose you to the many non-Police careers available within the RCMP.
Specialized units such as the Major Case Management Operation Service Centre (MCMOSC) provide support for the electronic management of information for Major Cases such as drug trafficking, homicides, financial fraud and organized crime across the province. Staff provide essential support with the maintenance and organization of these files. You will be instrumental in providing assistance to investigators and in the creation of electronic disclosure packages presented to Crown. You will need to be very detail oriented, task focused and able to multitask. These positions will expose you to all aspects of investigations and what goes on behind the scenes.
