About This Team
The Manager, Sales Audit is accountable for the completeness and accuracy of lululemon's global revenue in accordance with US GAAP principles. This role is responsible for overseeing data integrity for product sales globally between the points of sale and our financial reporting system, across our omni business. They are the subject matter expert for all issues and requests related to revenue and our revenue system, including testing implications, SOX controls and audit requests.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue & Inventory, the Manager, Sales Audit leads a team of two accountants and plays a key role supporting our stores.
A Day In The Life
- Review global revenue reconciliations & SOX controls in advance of Sr. Director approval each month
- Manage month end activities & approve journals related to revenue
- Support & review work of the Sales Audit team ensuring they have the tools to navigate unique challenges and professionally develop
- Oversee teams interaction with internal and external auditors and manage their requests and queries
- Perform complex GAAP analysis to assess revenue recognition policies with new and growing complex revenue channels and collaborations
- Support with analyzing and testing new revenue streams and advising the business on the impacts to revenue and related sales systems
- Collaborate with different finance teams related to sales and cross functional partners to ensure global revenue accuracy and completeness
Qualifications
- CPA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented with ability to engage in, prioritize and perform multiple ongoing tasks
- Advanced Excel skills, including comfort with complex spreadsheets & large data sets
- Experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle ReSA is an asset
- Excellent teamwork & interpersonal skills with demonstrated abilities to motivate, coach and mentor a team
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, adjust to changing priorities and capable of meeting tight timelines
- Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to suggest alternatives and ideas for improvement
