Position Summary

Miovision is building cutting-edge hardware to bring traffic infrastructure into the 21st century. Our hardware supports a revolutionary way to monitor and administer traffic networks from anywhere. We are looking for a Manager, Assembly to organize and oversee the assembly of our products. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.

We expect you to have a deep understanding of best practices and production procedures in an electronics assembly environment. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will be a critical component of this role.

The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Planning and organizing production schedules
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Monitor production to resolve issues
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel
  • Assist in determining the amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
  • Liaising with buyers/Supply Chain and Production Planning
  • Ensure output meets quality standards
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
  • Organizing relevant training sessions
  • Track KPIs and performance for reports to upper management
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving and risk assessment
  • Own and drive Lean concepts to improve overall efficiency (5S, Kanban, Kaizen, single piece flow, etc)

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading an electronics assembly production floor
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
  • BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred
