The Manager, Compensation is responsible for the operations and administration of RBI’s employee equity plans program globally. This role will lead all employee support and education, system administration, and lead the relationship with vendors. This individual will be a part of the Total Rewards Tower. The role will involve working closely with HR, Payroll, Legal & Accounting teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness with deliverables. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic working environment and has a passion for undertaking process improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of RBI’s equity plans and systems including all equity transactions, e.g., settlements and releases, etc.
  • Responsible for accurate record-keeping, reporting, process documentation, compliance, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and load annual grant files in Solium/Shareworks, map grant award agreements and reconcile employee reports post load.
  • Participates in the design and development of Equity Plans, helping gather market best practice information, defining eligibility parameters, performing data reporting and analytics to assess overall program design.
  • Maintain data integrity for all terminations, cancelations/forfeitures, and other transactions; monitor and ensure successful data integration with Workday.
  • Work closely with payroll team to ensure timely payment of taxes related to equity transactions and validate multi-jurisdictional tax withholdings for large employee vesting events and stock option exercises.
  • Reconcile and audit quarterly dividends in Shareworks.
  • Assist with quarterly audits and data verification processes for all equity compensation plans to ensure information is correct and maintained properly.
  • Oversee communication with employees and develop and lead training sessions for new and existing employees.
  • Manage and maintain documentation of all processes related to equity administration.
  • Prepare tables for the CD&A portion of the proxy.
  • Mange all Equity Plan documentation including Plan Documents and Award Agreements with a focus on regulatory compliance and governance standards.
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or a related field.
  • CEP designation preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience, preferably in Equity Compensation, HR or Finance.
  • Previous experience within the area of Equity Plan Administration and/or Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Administration is a plus.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, including advanced functions, and pivots.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Workday and Solium/Shareworks is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player willing to help with tasks required to meet overall goals.
