Manager, Corporate Accounting
Based in Vancouver the Manager, Corporate Accounting will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Finance. The Corporate Finance & Accounting team is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information to both external and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising staff and take ownership for managing accounting procedures and processes. This role is primarily focused on corporate expenses, capitalized assets, and overseeing the accounting of QuadReal's international offices. The role also functions as a key bridge with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for financial reporting and analysis.
As a Manager, Corporate Accounting You Will:

• Oversee the financial reporting requirements for the International Offices, including:

• Reviewing the monthly financial reporting packages to ensure the financial results are complete and accurate.
• Reviewing the intercompany reconciliations to ensure all transactions have been captured, and settlements are processed on a timely basis.
• Managing the calendar for the International Offices to ensure all monthly, quarterly, and year-end tasks are completed on a timely basis.

• Assist with the full cycle day-to-day Procurement, Payables and Payments ("PPP") accounting functions of the Corporate AP team:
• Assist with the preparation of QuadReal's quarterly and annual audited financial statements.
• Assist with the analysis of financial results and reporting to Management.
• Research, interpret, and prepare accounting policy documents supporting new International Financial Reporting Standards and accounting treatment for special transactions.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting, including the documentation of processes and procedures.
• Guide the process for annual external audits.
• Support various special projects as they arise.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Designated CPA.
• Over 5 years of experience in accounting.

• Supervisory/managerial experience - within a corporate function would be an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills desired, and Yardi Voyager experience would be an asset.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, including consolidations, foreign exchange, and full-cycle accounting experience.
• Excellent organizational, time management problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $105,000
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual's skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
