Flipp's Shopper Consideration Platform allows retailers and manufacturers to create digital experiences from their savings & deals content. These experiences help Shoppers decide what to buy and where to buy it. Flipp then connects those retailer and manufacturer experiences to millions of shoppers through Flipp's owned and operated channels.

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will provide strategic finance support including budgeting, forecasting, planning and ad hoc analysis and insights to support our Corporate FP&A deliverables including consolidation, Strategic support business partnering and executive reporting and deliverables. They will act as a critical FP&A team support between the Finance Business Partners, Revenue planning and Ops team, and accounting to deliver and support our corporate level objectives including monthly executive meetings, quarterly reporting, cash flow and balance sheet forecasting and M&A.

What you'll get the opportunity to do:

  • Corporate FP&A

    • Lead a small team of FP&A Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts responsible for the consolidation of high-volume data and analytics. Develop the team to deliver high performance.
    • Lead & set the operating rhythm in coordination with the Director, FP&A for the monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles for FP&A delivering on forecasts, outlooks and budgets.
    • Create visual and impact presentations to be delivered to and by executives and senior management focused on compelling storytelling of our business results including risks and offsets
    • Corporate FP&A deliverables include consolidated planning to Net Income, Weekly Cash Flow forecasting and balance sheet planning.
  • Finance Business Partner

    • Partner with senior management to develop their annual expense budgets and facilitate and own the Financial Planning process. Manage the monthly departmental budget to actual review and re-forecasting process throughout the year as it relates to expenses.
    • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of expense plans and forecasts.
    • Understand the impact and priority of all expenses to identify and present opportunities for savings or incremental investment, supporting the recommendations with accurate and relevant data.
  • Reporting Automation

    • Continue to enhance the foundations for reporting, automating manual processes and providing greater visibility and access to budget information to senior management
    • Leverage and establish new and existing tools to better visualize financial results (ie. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Project Management

    • Ability to perform and manage ad hoc projects in support of the Finance and Planning functions

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years in progressive financial analysis roles with experience with business partnering
  • Strong Business Acumen that can quickly learn how Flipp works, experience in two-sided marketplace businesses considered an asset
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to both lead and work within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in order to research and escalate issues.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
  • Expert user of reporting systems and analysis tools to deliver timely and accurate reporting to support business decisions
