Manager, Fulfillment

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the VP Engineering, this role will have significant visibility being primarily focused on execution of contracts as it relates to fulfillment of customer orders. This includes supporting proposal preparation and contract negotiation, and leading contract administration and customer contact activities to provide and ensure proper fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements.

This position will coordinate closely with the Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service teams.

This position is located in-office in Kelowna.

A typical day includes:

• Act as primary interface with customer for contractual obligations, ensuring fulfillment
• Reviewing sales forecast for upcoming expected orders and identifying any expected issues that could impact customer orders and our requirements.
• Attending sales hand-off meetings where the order is passed from Sales to Fulfillment.
• Maintains the highest standards of customer service by immediately attending to and resolving issues.
• Provides clear direction and general guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring that these are translated and enforced into action to meet goals.
• Maintain accurate records, historical information and track issues to closure.
• Develops and implements business process initiatives to optimize operations in accordance with overall business objectives.

• Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong customer service focus in a complex environment
• Exceptional people skills, with an ability to work closely and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Professional presentation and demeanor
• Active empathetic listening skills.
• Aerospace domain experience
• A keen eye for detail and great organizational skills, to successfully track and manage multiple, complex orders at once.
• Self-starter mentality that is excited by autonomy and being the point person, and has a relentless drive to exceed expectations

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a contracts related field within an applicable fulfillment operation
• 5+ years of aerospace industry experience
• Knowledge of CRM systems
• Knowledgeable of satellite networks and mobile communications (e.g. Iridium, Globalstar)
• Experience working with an ISO9001/AS9100 quality system
