What is the opportunity?

This role is accountable for overseeing day-to-day inquiries for our Transfer Agency clients as a people manager. The incumbent will lead a team dedicated to addressing and resolving client needs, ensuring excellent client experience. This position involves active collaboration with both internal and external partners. This role plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships to ensure effective communication and service delivery. It is essential to cultivate a culture of learning within the team, promoting exchange of insights to enhance overall performance and expertise.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for "First Time right Resolution" on incoming client inquires. Ensure that client service levels (SLA) and quality standards of information provided are met or exceeded for their team
  • Ensure that staff adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements in the processes for their team
  • Sets direction. Responsible for all aspects of performance management for the team
  • Main point of contact for escalated issues (research, recommend and implement solutions).
  • Responsible for operational effectiveness for their team. Continuously looks for opportunities to improve processes to help increase overall efficiency and reduce risk
  • On-going education and the development and maintenance of relationships/contacts in the Broker /Dealer network and with industry peers including internal partners
  • Exhibits strong client first approach, collaboration, accountability and integrity values
  • Strong Customer Service Skills - Managed a team of customer service agents/ investigation agents

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Displays the importance of providing acute support to clients' with excellent client service skills
  • Displays Strong team player and Collaboration Abilities - outside the box thinker
  • Solid Industry Knowledge - includes mutual funds/registered products/Fundserv
  • Demonstrates Excellent Leadership Skills, communication skills, and Risk management/mitigation focus
  • Minimum 5/7 years' experience in Transfer Agency or financial services industry in a similar operations environment.
  • Microsoft Office Products

Nice to have

  • Specific knowledge: Unitrax and Wealthlink
  • French is an asset
