Salary: FT Admin Band 5 (Min) $81,106 (Max) 121,659
What you will do:
The Manager, Technical Services (IT) is accountable for the successful day-to-day delivery of information technology related technical services for the Faculty of Media & Creative Arts (FMCA).
FMCA is highly dependent on IT resources for program delivery and therefore maintains its own IT department and facility infrastructure to manage:
- IT Service Management processes and best practices
- IT Asset and IT service delivery life-cycle management
- Desktop on-site support – developing and maintaining technical support strategies
- (Computer) Software Management – Monitoring and maintaining all IT systems, and IT infrastructure including network equipment, servers, operating systems, endpoint, and mobile devices
- Software licensing and compliance management
- Closed Captioning/Accessible Media Services
Additionally, the incumbent will lead FMCA IT projects and liaise with the college-wide Information Technology Services department when required.
Qualifications
What you bring to the role:
- Specialized University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Management
- Certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 Foundations
- PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP or equivalent)
- IT Security certification
- A minimum of 5-9 years related experience
