Job description

Dirty Diesel Customs R&D Team is expanding, seeking a motivated individual to join our team. We need someone who is driven, independent, and has strong problem-solving skills. Our team is energetic, hardworking, and loves to have fun.

Dirty Diesel Customs R&D develops and manufactures parts for the aftermarket automotive industry, with a focus on 1 ton diesel trucks.

This is an entry-level position, no experience necessary, with opportunities for growth. The role is multifaceted, including CNC operation and assisting with kitting/assembly. The ideal candidate will be excited about improving efficiency and identifying wasteful processes.

Anticipated schedule would be flexible start between 9:00am to 11:59am, 8 hours a day.

Education:

  • Highschool Grade 12 or Higher

Duties Will Include:

  • Assembling products as per Engineering Instructions
  • Loading and unloading parts on CNC machinery
  • Operating and lightly maintaining CNC equipment
  • Tidying and Upkeeping Shop.
  • Maintaining quality using high precision measuring equipment
  • Using hand tools and metrology equipment
  • Maintaining a tidy workspace

Bonus Skills Include:

  • Basic knowledge of precision measuring equipment
  • Safe operation of forklift
  • Knowledge of programming CNC machinery
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge

We need someone who is not just here to fill a seat but is passionate about driving growth working together with others. The ideal candidate is technically savvy and excited about the potential for growth within our manufacturing division.

This could be a great position for a highly motivated recent high school graduate, or engineering technologist that wants to get real life work experience in an automotive R&D company.

This job is constantly evolving and it's a great way to get your foot in the door of one of the fastest-growing diesel shops in Canada. We work very hard, but we also have a tonne of fun while we do it.
