Marine Technician

CV Marine is expanding!

We are looking for a Junior or Senior level Marine Technician to join our team.

A bit about us, we are a small retail and servicing Mercury outboard and Mercruiser premium dealer, but service most outboard brands. We are family owned and operated, located in the beautiful Comox Valley and have been servicing the Comox Valley and surrounding area for 12 years now. We are a group of 7 who work hard and care about the business but also value our family time and other important things in life. Requirements:

- Basic computer skills

- 3 years experience as a Marine Technician

- Outboard and sterndrive knowledge and experience

- Valid driver’s license

- Have your own basic tools (Specialty tools provided)

- Willing to complete Mercury University courses to keep training up to date on the latest motors

- Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team and individually

Duties:

- Rigging boats

- Servicing outboards and sterndrives

- Installing electronics

- Boat trailer servicing

-Boat hauling and water testing

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
