How will you make an impact in this role?

The Marketing Analyst/Senior Marketing Analyst, Variable Cardmember Engagement Expense (VCEE) is a unique role in ICS, responsible for driving efficiency agenda as we continue to make investments in our best in class products. The VCEE (Sr) Analyst will support setting strategies that enhance revenues and drive cost efficiencies, and will implement change either directly, or indirectly via product, benefit and partner stakeholders. Key functions include initiative identification and sizing, management and execution of VCEE led projects/processes (e.g., OpEx, Process changes).

You’ll collaborate with a host of enterprise partners including product teams, Centers of Excellence, tech, GCO, Compliance as well as other business units. You’ll work with the analytics team, and flex your own analytics muscles, to uncover insights that will inform the team's proposed strategies and support in creating alignment across many stakeholders.

You are a master collaborator, have a love of creating tactics from ambiguity, and can-do attitude to your work. You are a detective at heart and look to find connections and opportunities that drive value to the bottom line, while ensuring a great customer experience. You will also be joining a high-energy team of results-driven professionals who enjoy having some fun.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Owning on-going actions designed to drive efficiency to reduce costs in key VCEE buckets
  • Support with product control activities that drive cost optimization or are revenue enhancing
  • Cost Tracking and dashboard management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University Degree (preferably Business/Marketing) with minimum 1-2 years of marketing or project management work experience
  • Proven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive results and champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation
  • Experience developing and managing relationships
  • Proven ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to demonstrate analytical skills, comfortable with analyzing data to draw insights to inform business strategy
  • Attention to detail and unrelenting focus on quality
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; emphasis on proposal development and the creation/delivery of effective presentations
  • Demonstrated managing multiple projects, attention to detail and prioritization skills in a demanding environment
  • Proven ability to lead change and set priorities, with capacity to be flexible and adapt with new opportunities
  • Strong team player with proven ability to build relationships across the Blue Box to accomplish goals
  • Must be a strongly proficient Excel and Power Point and be comfortable with the rest of the Microsoft Office suite
