Admin and Marketing Coordinator for Sauble Eats Restaurant Group – Full Time Seasonal

Overview: Are you on the hunt for a unique social media/marketing job this summer? We need someone who loves engaging with people, planning events, and creating meaningful posts that stand out! We are a dynamic and growing restaurant group located in beautiful lakeside community of Sauble Beach, Ontario! We’re looking for a passionate, creative, and driven Marketing and Admin Coordinator. This role is essential in building our brand's presence online, engaging with our community, and driving our marketing objectives across various digital platforms. Additionally, candidates will support the leadership team with several administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized and very detail oriented. They must have a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry and a proven track record in digital marketing. Knowledge of, and experience within, the local area is considered an asset. Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management: Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across all platforms including Instagram, Google, and Facebook. This includes working on building our content calendar, posting regularly, and responding to comments and messages.

• Content Creation Support: Support our content creation team as required to produce high-quality, engaging content that reflects our brand’s voice and ethos. This involves photographing dishes, creating short video clips, writing compelling captions, and designing digital graphics.

• Community/Staff Engagement: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews. Foster relationships with customers, influencers, and local businesses to build a community around our brand. Engage with staff and guests in store to build rapport and gather feedback. You will also be responsible for coordinating staff events and developing staff incentive programs.

• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of social media activities and campaigns, using tools like Google Analytics and native social media insights. Use data to inform future strategies and content.

• Email Marketing: Manage and grow our email subscriber list, design email campaigns, and analyze performance to increase customer engagement and retention.

• Event Promotion: Work closely with our team to promote restaurant events, specials, and new menu launches through various marketing channels.

• Market Research: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

• Admin/Payroll Support: Verify and process daily tip-outs for all staff, and compile and submit payroll detail for approval. Fill schedule openings and cancel staff shifts as required/directed by leadership. Qualifications:

  • Degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and Google
  • Excellent photography and graphic design skills, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with video production and editing is a plus.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and insights to guide marketing decisions.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• This is a full time seasonal in-person role working Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm
