Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Content Writer within our Diabsolut division. This position will report to the Marketing Director. They will assist in developing creative and engaging content for multi-channel marketing and thought leadership in order to build our brand’s reputation, increase brand awareness, and deliver marketing campaigns that result in lead generation. While this position is 100% remote, we are looking to expand our team in North America.

As a member of Diabsolut, the Marketing Content Writer will display both a creative eye and proficiency in capturing and generating engaging written content and have a willingness to learn and be comfortable taking direction —balanced with the capacity to generate creative ideas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, have impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, and be known for delivering results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Write, review, edit, and update content for social media, company website, marketing materials, and press releases
  • Capture content for various content types (videos, blogs, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style adhering to the respective style guides
  • Conduct research and interviews to learn more about our services and products, and contextualize the findings

  • Facilitate rich content development by coordinating a plan of action with our internal subject matter experts, including copywriting and proofreading of content
  • Work closely with our business and sales teams on customer or partner facing collateral for sales, webinars, and/or events
  • Contribution of ideas for continuous improvement in the individual role, as a team, and for the business

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Communications and/or Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a content and/or technical writing position

Requirements and Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write clear, consistent and relevant content that delivers an engaging experience for target audiences
  • Able to write content for web, blogs, brochures, collateral at a high standard
  • A creative mindset and a passion for telling stories
  • Capability to enjoy collaborating with others
  • Ability to conduct and record interviews with subject matter experts
  • Self-motivated and/or self-starter with ability to multitask and be proactive
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • An understanding of social media content creation, management, and scheduling

Assets:

  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Experience working in a B2B Company and understanding of the differentiation between customer and partner facing collateral
  • Experience working with a CRM and Marketing automation tools (Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)
  • Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro (or similar platform), knowledge of design tools, and video editing software
  • Strong knowledge of marketing trends, strategies, concepts and best practices
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, social media, email marketing tools and strategies
  • Experience with conducting interviews and writing editorial copy
