Noetic Marketer, a leading digital marketing agency based in Toronto with clients across Canada and the United States, seeks a creative and experienced Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fundamental in creating engaging content for our diverse client base, with a strong focus on higher education.

In this pivotal role, you will immerse yourself in writing and dedicate 100% of your efforts to creating a variety of content, including—but not limited to—search engine optimized blog posts, social media content, Facebook ads, Google ads, emails, and other written materials, as needed. Your primary focus will be on blog post writing (70%), followed by social media writing (20%) and other writing tasks (10%).

Responsibilities:

• Write clear and engaging copy with a distinct voice for various mediums (including blogs, social media, ads, emails, and more).
• Research industry-related topics and generate new content ideas.
• Collaborate with the project management and design teams to develop compelling content strategies.
• Edit and proofread content before submitting it for review.
• Ensure all content is aligned with brand standards and SEO guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Content Writer, copywriter, or similar role.
• Knowledgeable about content writing best practices.
• Excellent written skills in English; written skills in French are an asset.
• Strong research skills.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO (keyword research, keyword distribution, content structure, etc.).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is an asset.
• Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms, particularly Google Meet, and project management software, like Asana.
