Southampton Arts supports and encourages cultural expression, education in the arts and an appreciation of the arts.

We are a community ART CENTRE with a vibrant and active ART SCHOOL and a professional and engaging ART GALLERY that exhibits over 50 juried artists from the Grey Bruce area.

Southampton Arts has a promotional ARTbike that requires a brand ambassador to jockey around town to various events and festivals throughout Saugeen Shores.

• Our ideal candidate will be innovative, creative, enthusiastic and have a contagious energy.
• They will expertly and independently develop intriguing, engaging, portable art programming that can be delivered to children, and interested adults, at these events.
• The Art Bike will also be available outside our gallery during the busy tourist season for impromptu, drop-in craft sessions.
• The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated but also interested in working with the other members of our team.
• If you have great community relations skills and clever artistic ideas and if this position sounds rewarding to you, send us your resume and a note about what makes you the ultimate candidate. Please include examples of the imaginative, inventive programming you would like to develop for a travelling art program on wheels.
• We're looking for someone to work flexible hours and have weekend availability throughout the contract.
• Selected candidates will be asked to provide a short video proposal (up to 3 minutes).
• The successful candidate must be creative, and engaging and have a vulnerable sector check.

Reliable, punctual, great time management skills, organized, personable, good communication (both written and verbal), creative and works well with children.
