Content Writer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Content Writer who can generate and write interesting topic ideas from technical products related to the energy metering industry. The right candidate should have a sound interest in technology and be able to simplify complex topics that resonates with the general audience.

Key Responsibilities

· Elaborate and explain key product functionality and application in easy digestible terms

· Write blog articles, web content, social media post, case studies, press releases, and other written content as needed

· Able to write 500-word blog articles on a bi-weekly basis

· Liaise with cross-functional teams to understand product details

· Ensure all content is checked for quality – spelling, grammar, readability, legibility, and accuracy

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experiences

· Background knowledge in engineering, manufacturing, IT, cybersecurity, or another technical field would be a huge asset

· Capable of researching and understanding technical topics

· Self-starter who can take the initiative with little to no supervision

· Excellent written and oral communication is a must

· Positive and assertive individual that has takes quality seriously

· Diligence and quality – attention small details such a grammar, spelling, punctuation

· Must be well-organized with the ability to balance simultaneous projects and deadlines

Other Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree

· 2+ years experience writing as a Content Writer
