Marketing Coordinator

As SASCU’s Marketing Coordinator, you will fulfil day-to-day coordination, communication, administration, and logistics functions. You will work with vendors, staff, and external stakeholders, coordinating production and delivery of campaign materials, promotional items, display items, and other collateral.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate and monitor activities with vendors, colleagues, and others as needed to ensure production, delivery, and publishing of collateral.
• Maintain and update information on SASCU’s website and intranet, including service interruptions and other routine communications.
• Draft, edit, proof, produce, and coordinate the distribution of SASCU communications.
• Make recommendations to improve upon advertisement and communication channel usage.
• Complete budget tracking by project/campaign, and provide inventory control of promotional giveaways and collateral.
• Complete various administrative duties to support efficient operations of the department.

What you’ll bring:

• Degree or diploma in Marketing or Communications, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in a financial services environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

You’re perfect for this role if you have:

• Basic understanding of marketing and communication principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on editing and proofing.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for special events and activities.
