SalaryAbout the Position:
As part of the shared services team, the Marketing Services Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting and executing marketing initiatives for the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and assisting with implementing various marketing strategies to promote products or services. This role reports to the Director, Marketing and Communications.
Responsibilities:
Content Development:
- Coordinate the creation, optimization and maintenance of compelling marketing content for various channels, including social media, email and websites.
- Edit and proofread marketing materials to maintain brand consistency.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns.
- Review and share regular reporting on marketing performance and provide insights for optimization with internal stakeholder.
- Utilize data to make data-driven decisions and recommend improvements.
Multi-Media Marketing:
- Assist with development and implementation of paid keyword, digital display, digital video and print advertising.
- Assist with development and implementation of brochures, sales tools, signage, and tradeshow materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance marketing efforts.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute marketing events, such as trade shows, webinars, internal functions, and product launches.
- Coordinate logistics, manage event budgets, and ensure a positive attendee experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Business or Marketing diploma or degree is an asset
- Proven experience in marketing or business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an understanding of digital marketing platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to travel, as necessary.
